She began her operations as Rong De Container Company in 1983. The Company's main services then was solely a transportation and container trucking company. Started as a family business, the company operated with only one truck and 3 staffs. At the helm is the Chairman and Managing Dirctor Mr. Charlie Ang, who come into the business without much knowledge of the industry. However with his presevering spirit and perceptiveness, he saw the vast potential of the industry and also the need to invest at the right timing. The company's container trucking business was able to thrive through and overcome the 1985 Singapore recession and the 1997 Asian economic crisis with several referrals which their clients offered.
