Shanghai remains top China container port in Q1 |
THE Port of Shanghai was China's number one container port in terms of TEU handled over the first quarter, Xinhua reported. |
According to the list of the top 10 ports in China published by the Chinese news wire, Shanghai's port handled 3.079 million TEU over the first three months of the year. The second through 10th ranked mainland ports over the first three months of the year were: Shenzhen (2.768 million TEU); Qingdao (1.143 million TEU); Tianjin (827,500 TEU); Ningbo (819,900 TEU); Xiamen (662,800 TEU); Guangzhou (180,670 TEU); Dalian (459,200 TEU); Zhongshan (186,700 TEU); and Yingkou (160,400 TEU). |
